The Vixine
THIS MODEL IS ONLY SOLD between this gumroad page, and now my Ko-Fi if you require Paypal.
The 'Vix' is a species defined by its Cat, Fox, and Rabbit-like characteristics, with The Vixine being an example of cat-dominant, fox secondary physiology. A variety of mix-and-match blendshapes let you tune up your look for this sporty creature!
Version 2.0 is in production, and will be a free update within this gumroad purchase. All 1.x owners have access!
This entails:
- a new UV map for the body to solve a number of fringe issues and clean up editability. V1 Body materials will continue to work, stored on a separate UV layer!
- updated bone structure, and a return to A-pose. This is largely why I'm denoting it V2 instead of 1.3
- Moderate topology and weight painting changes, particularly around hands, and to better enforce facial expressions.
This avatar is currently only available and supported through Gumroad. V2 may see a broader launch though!

All customization is available to tinker with on the demo model, available at the Public Demo World!
For links to a number of official and add-ons like skins and clothing, I link everything at the top of the official Vix webpage. Check it out for a fun feature tour so you know what you're getting into!

//Avatar Features:
- Read the title cards, my wife worked very hard on them! Then you can read more at hecka.space/vix
- PC ready at Medium quality at 41k tris (slightly more with 1.1, updating cards/numbers soon), with Good performance possible with some clothing and bones discarded (<32ktri, max 4 bones), limiting textures to 2k/1k, etc.
- Fullbody compatible, with legs that do fun things with foot tracking. Check the Digitigrade+ toggle in settings!
- MMD compatible visemes and a suite of manual 2D puppets for nuanced face control
- uses Poiyomi 8.1 (Toon Outline by default), to take advantage of UVTile Discard to hide body and clothing parts. A number of other features also control variables within the shader through toggles and animations.
- Extra geo options and textures not in the demo. Peruse twitter for more info.
- a suite of alternate poiyomi-based materials that allow you to edit the color palettes of the original 3 body patterns directly in unity.
//Avatar does not have, but will likely see support down the line for:
- An animation/posing rig. This is on my shortlist! The default blender file is currently an FK only figure, with leg constraints to demonstrate the way the VRC rig is handled, allowing for better clothing add-on testing.
- custom locomotion animations/poses. It comes pre-loaded with stock GogoLoco to give it some flair. IF GOGOLOCO IS A SELLING POINT TO YOU, please consider dropping a tip for the creator, Franada, by purchasing it for their asking price or more! This also grants you any future updates to the system. I do want to adjust some animations to make them play better with the vix's particular leg shapes.
- Quest version - This is currently doable, with a lot of editing and optimizing on your part. I'm working on a quest-ready version and have a test demo up! Until I'm comfortable with the performance, I'm not advertising it as quest ready, so if you're looking to do so I ask you know what you're doing already. I offer no refunds after you've acquired the files.
//Usage:
- You may use the avatar in any edited form to represent yourself in VRChat/resonite/etc, or as a vtuber (you will have to perform setup for VRM yourself), or in any other 3D medium. If you are a streamer or commissioner, I request you don't use the stock white cat skin with orange eyes. An avatar representing 'you' must be unique to yourself in some capacity! If you're interested in doing a render of Hecka or just 'the Vix' in general, message me.
- If you are Commissioning 3D art with the avatar, consider discussing this with me to ensure you get the most of the model. Taking on a new policy, I recommend the artist speak with me to get the high poly sculpt and correct textures, and to ensure they understand this is a paid model that is not to be shared. I want you to get the most out of this! I do not have a standardized animation rig set up for it at the moment, and various textures and blendshapes are built with VRC in mind and will need some wrangling!
- You are free to create assets such as textures or clothing, both for commission or distribution via gumroad. (SEND ME LINKS SO I CAN SHARE THEM!) In the case of commissions, ensure both parties own the model (verified role on the discord is a reliable check!). You may do whatever you like after that.
- In the case of distribution, You may not include large portions of the original model in the final deliverable. If it involves blend shapes, you can only deliver it as an installer, not a full replacement FBX (unless you're 100% vetting if they've purchased the original) - Do not use AI generative software to translate screenshots into new images, nor use it to perform retexturing. It will looks bad and I will be embarrassed.
- There is no commercial license. Generally, streamers/tubers get a pass for usage (credit me when applicable, like, in a description or something!), but redistributing the model in an edited form is off the table.
- You may not upload a publicly usable edit of the model, unless 1: it's to demonstrate an add-on you made for it, and 2: it keeps the info card leading back to this page (and your own of course!) It doesn't have too be permanently up, but maybe make that feature 'not saved between worlds'.
included: Unity Package, FBX, .Blend (4.0), .sbsar (up-to-date Substance) for all included meshes.
